Drip Preview Links
Let fans hear it first, before the release
Sound Credit Drips are preview links that create exclusive, expiring listening experiences you can post anywhere. Share your music early, see what resonates, and build your email list as hype builds. Available to anyone with a Sound Credit Pro or Business plan.
Exclusive access, set by you
Let fans hear your unreleased music, but only for a limited time and number of plays. You control how many listeners can stream your tracks before the link expires.
Find out what works, and where
Each Sound Credit Drip analyzes listener engagement to uncover patterns by region and track. You may learn your sleeper hit is Track 3 in the U.S. and Track 5 in the U.K.
Grow your email list automatically
When a fan’s access runs out, they can opt in to get notified of your next Drip, turning casual listeners into direct fans you can reach anytime. You own your email list!
Frequently asked questions
We're here to help with any questions you have about Sound Credit Drips.
A stream-only, time-limited link you can post to social media or send privately. Listeners can hear your music early, but access expires based on your settings.
On an existing project, click the 3-dot icon (More Options) next to the Details button and link icon, and click "Add Drip".
You choose how many total "tickets" the Drip link allows (e.g. 100 plays total). Only the first visitors up to that number will be able to listen.
After the tickets have all been used, listeners are prompted to join your email list so they don’t miss the next one. You’ll get a full list of subscribers and stats after the link closes.
Why would I use this instead of just posting my music?
Drip preview links create hype, exclusivity, and insight, before your release goes public. You get data and momentum, and fans get to feel like insiders.
Can I post a Drip link on Instagram or TikTok?
Yes. You’ll get a unique link that works anywhere—just copy and paste it into your bio, stories, or posts.
Is this just for business people?
Not at all. Drip preview links are artist-friendly and totally optional. They’re here when you want to test a release or build engagement.
How many listeners do I need to get good insights?
Even 50–300 streams can produce strong data. The included Drip analysis will look for patterns and help you understand what tracks connect where.
Can I use this like a virtual listening party?
Yes. Some artists treat Drip preview links like invite-only sessions—great for superfans, close collaborators, or label execs to hear music early.
